If you’re looking for a fall activity that’s closer than the pumpkin patch but nicer than the grocery store, come on in and check out our great selection of fall décor. In addition to great fall décor like pumpkins and mums, we’ve also got great late-season favorites like sunflowers, rudbeckia, ornamental peppers, pansies, and more.
We’ve got a great selection of pumpkins and gourds, but my favorite are these white ghost pumpkins. Complete the fall look with straw bales and corn stalks.
Planting Trees and Shrubs in Fall
A lot of gardeners prefer to plant trees and shrubs in the fall. Typically, in the fall, the weather’s a lot milder. There should be plenty of time for them to get established before the winter, and then they’ll come back in the spring even stronger.
They don’t get as much credit as trees, but we also have shrubs. And when you’re planting in the fall, don’t forget the bulbs.
Planting Bulbs for Spring
More fall gardening that’ll pay dividends in the spring is planting bulbs. You can plant these right now, and they’ll bloom in the springtime. For fall bulb planting, we have bulb fertilizer and bone meal.
Winterizing Your Lawn
Fall is a great time to winterize your lawn. It’s probably the most important feeding of the year. It really helps develop strong roots, which will allow the grass to pop back even better in the springtime. So we have two great winterizer fertilizers by Colorado’s Choice: the Organic Water Saver and the Original Synthetic Winterizer.
